WARRANTY, TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

The Warranty, Terms & Conditions herein are to protect you the customer and Wi Vid Wireless Video Cameras.com, LLC referred to hereafter as "WI VID".  Please read the terms and conditions completely before making your purchase. All of our wireless video camera equipment is made-to-order and our other products are special ordered per your order request.  Most items will ship within 3 to 7 business days, COFDM products may have a 4 to 5 week lead time.  Please consult with our sales department and thoroughly read all the descriptions and specifications of the product or products you are purchasing to make sure you are purchasing the proper item or items.  If you have any have any questions regarding your purchase CONTACT US BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR SALES TRANSACTION.  Our philosophy is there is no such thing as "gently used equipment"; therefore we do not sell used equipment and ALL OUR SALES ARE FINAL unless special arrangements have been made in writing prior to the sale .  We stand behind our products with Free Life-Time Technical Support to the purchaser of the product and a One (1) Year Warranty as described below.

 

WARRANTY and Technical Support

Warranty period for all products sold by WI VID is ONE (1) YEAR from date of purchase, unless specified differently in writing at the time of purchase by WI VID.

WI VID hereby warrants, subject to the conditions herein, that should this product become defective by reason of improper workmanship or material defect during the specified warranty period, WI VID will repair the same product and all necessary parts without charge for either parts or labor, or replace the unit at WI VID's option.  WI VID will pay for the return of the repaired warranty item. Return shipping is through ground service or economy international service.  Expedited return shipping charges must be prepaid by the purchaser or customer if requested.  All warranty repaired items will only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser's original shipping address.  Third party addresses must be prepaid by the purchaser or customer or third party.

Products eligible for Warranty repair must have a valid Return Merchandise Authorization number RMA #. The RMA numbers are issued by WI VID via phone or email only. RMA numbers are valid for 21 days. Shipments received after 21 days will be refused.  The RMA item must be shipped via prepaid shipping method by the purchaser or customer, WI VID will not pay for the return shipping for warranty repairs from the purchaser or customer to WI VID under any circumstances.  The warranty item must be returned in the original package or similar packaging; WI IVD will void any warranty of item damaged in shipping. WI VID will not pay customs or duties charges for any warranty repair item and will refuse shipment for items shipped collect.  All warranty return items must have RMA# marked clearly on the package and must a sheet of paper with the RMA#, purchaser's or customer's name, address, telephone number and description of defect with the unit.  All our products are made to order and are custom for each customer.All our products are tested to meet the specifications provided on our website.   The ranges for our wireless equipment are best case scenarios for maximum distance ratings.  For best results on all wireless equipment divide all maximum range distances in half.   All of our wireless video products require Clear-Line-of-Sight unless stated Non-Line-of-Sight or Near-Line-of Sight to operate properly and it is the purchaser's or customer's responsibility to prepare their setup so that they maintain a Clear-Line-of-Site with no obstructions in order for the equipment to perform the products specification.   Antennas and/or Transmitters & Receiver Enclosures with internal antennas be at least 10 feet higher than any obstructions and must be mounted high enough above the ground not to cause ground plane effect which can cause a distorted video signal.  The signal between the Transmitter and Receiver is a beam approximately 20ft. in diameter and there can not be any obstruction within this area to maintain a distortion free video signal.  It is the responsibility of the custorer or purchaser or the products to verify their location will conform to these requirements in order for the equipment to work properly.   Only systems purchased as Non-Line-of-Sight and Near-Line-of-Sight systems are exempt from these clear-line-if-sight requirements. We stand by our product by offering a One (1) Year Warranty and Life-Time Technical Support which surpasses the industry by far therefore we do not allow demos, returns or refunds under any circumstances and All our sales are final.  Any unauthorized returns will be refused.

 

VOID of WARRANTY

ALL ITEMS WILL BE INSPECTED AND TESTED UPON RECEIPT. Any discrepancies including, but not limited to, the following will result in Void of Warranty.

If product has been opened, altered or modified, wiring that has been cut and/or altered, antennas removed or installed while power applied, repaired or serviced by anyone, other than our service facility.

The unit must not have been subject to misuse, abuse or operated contrary to the instructions provided. The opinion of WI VID regarding all warranty repairs shall be final. This warranty does not include and is not extended to broken and damaged accessories, batteries and exposed antennas and to parts wearing out due to normal wear and tear.  Products that are packed or packaged improperly, returned to WI VID in non-qualified shipping containers. Products affixed with counterfeit label(s) or affixed with labels exhibiting tampering, any standard certification labels removed (UL listing, capacity, brand name, UPC code) if applicable, packages with barcode label removed, serial numbers removed if applicable.

DAMAGE: Products that are crashed in RC Airborne Video Downlink applications, products struck by lightning or power surges, incorrect voltage applied, incorrect polarity, products exposed to excessive water and/or immersed in water, components cracked, damaged and/or any damage to circuit boards, dents, scratches, defacement or abuse of base casting, torn or punctured tape seals, loose, damaged or removed screws or fasteners, will void the above warranty.

 

DISCLAIMER

In no event shall WI VID or any of its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, accidental, act of god, weather related, cause of injury, cause of death, cause of physical damage, cause of property damage, cause of loss, loss of income, punitive and/or consequential liability, and/or incidental damages upon any basis of liability whatsoever even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In addition, WI VID does not take any responsibility or assume any liability for the wiring, installation or placement of the equipment the Purchaser's or Customer purchases, or for the activities of any other individual or entity such as Purchaser's or Customer's Company, those who prepare the specifications or any local, national or international Authorities who inspect and/or approve Purchaser's or Customer's installation.  It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser or Customer to obtain any and all licenses, permits and/or permission to use the product or products purchased from WI VID and WI VID shall not be liable for any misuse, unlicensed use and/or misuse under the law of your local, state, federal and/or international laws, rules or government regulations.  Some of the wireless video camera systems and equipment require an Amateur Radio License to be used and operated in the United States.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser or customer and/or user to operate under the FCC rules and guidelines. Persons operating the equipment in other countries are strongly encouraged to consult their local governments for laws and regulations.  Amateur Radio Licenses education and study guides for testing are available online at:
